Mr. Allison had lived in Mansfield for several years, moving to Malta three years ago.
He was born September 3, 1920 in Guernsey County, Ohio, to Charles and Bernice Burlingam Allison.
He was a member of the East Hills Presbyterian Church of Mansfield, and was a retired inspector for the Ohio Department of Liquor Control.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura, in 1983.
He is survived by one son, Richard of Massillon; two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Marie) Leedom of Zanesville and Mrs. Brooks (Carol) Wilson of Malta; one brother, C.R. Bob Allison of Byesville, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
Calling hours were Tuesday. Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. in the Tom Funeral Home at Cumberland, Ohio, by the Rev. Betty Sikes of Mansfield.
Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery.
