Mildred was born in Fairmont, W.Va., to the late Ernest and Mavia Nuzum. In 1931, she married Charles E. Henry and they were married for more than 40 years. She moved to Waco in 1943 with her husband and children. She was a homemaker for many years, and was also employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. and Garcia Upholstery.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and sons, James Henry, Terry Henry and Charles Henry.
She is survived by daughter, Marjorie Gill and husband, Bill, of Woodbridge, Va., and John Henry and wife, Roselyn, of Waco; grandchildren, Mike Henry, Ricky Henry, Ella Brooks, Debbie Brooks, Patty Thompson, Cindy Brooks, Carrie Schell, Bill Gill Jr., Gene Gill, Scott Henry and Gina Henry; numerous great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Patsy Henry and Alvina Toppings; brothers, Bob Nuzum and John Nuzum; and sisters, Wilda Musgrove and Martha Green.
