George E. "Jack" Border, 66, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 12:55pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Wexner Heritage Village, Zusman House, of Columbus. Jack wanted to stay, but God had other plans for him.

Jack was born June 10, 1946, in Londonderry, OH, to George C. and Joyce A. (Hatfield) Border. On January 22, 1972, he married the former Suzanne K. Wolever.

Surviving is his loving wife, Suzanne, of Chillicothe.

Jack served his country for 9 years in US Air Force Reserves. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Ohio University. He retired from the Kenworth Truck Co. in 2008 where he worked as a systems analyst.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Steven J. Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8pm Friday at Haller Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zusman Community Hospice, 1151 College Ave., Columbus, OH 43209.
