Rosemary W. Gumont, age 75 of Medina, passed away April 2, 2013. Rosemary was born in Idamay, West Virginia on May 24, 1937 to the late Boyd Martin and Mildred Hazel Weaver. Her life revolved around her family, but in her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening, and caring for her orchids. She loved life and was a world traveler. Rosemary was a coalminer's daughter and was proud of it!

Rosemary is survived by her loving daughters Vicki (Gary Lee) Link and Janet (Gregg) Scarberry; grandchildren Catherine Gordon, Rebecca Tighe, Kelsey Link, Kimberly Piwinski, and Paul Terlop; seven great grandchildren; sisters Loretta Pyles and Cheri Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her son Eric Allen Gumont; daughter Michelle Rose Gumont; and sister Phyllis Hess.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Martyrs Church 3100 South Weymouth Road Medina, Ohio. Family will receive friends for a time of remembrance from 10:30 a.m. until mass at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Martyrs. Committal Services will be held Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown, West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Rosemary's memory to Hospice of Medina County's Building Fund, 5075 Windfall Rd. Medina, OH 44256.
