SALUDA - Frank Etheredge Addy, Jr., son of Frank Etheredge Addy, Sr. and Mary "Mickey" IRICK Addy, died March 31, 2013. He was born in Columbia SC, June 12, 1954. He graduated from Newberry High School, where he was president of the student body. He then went on to graduate from the University of South Carolina in 1976 with a degree in political science. While in college, Frank was a member of Chi Psi Fraternity where he made lifelong friends who knew him as "BF." He had been mayor of Saluda for six years and was successful at bringing many new businesses to town. In 1988, Frank married Oreita Herlong Addy. They were married for 25 years and have two beloved sons, Samuel "Roland" Elwell Addy and Robert Christian Herlong Addy "Buck." He lived in Saluda SC, most of his life and was a member of Celebration Church in Leesville, SC. Frank was an avid Gamecock fan and loved Lake Greenwood. Frank is survived by his wife, Oreita; two sons, Roland and Buck of Saluda; a stepson, Lee Pryor (Sarah); grandson, Cort of Pawley's Island; and Roland's girlfriend, Lacey Berry of Saluda. He is also survived by a brother, Robert Addy of Saluda; a sister, Mary Addy Ellis (Neil) of Columbia; a niece, Faith Ellis Todd (Jonathan) of Columbia; two nephews, Matt Ellis of Columbia, and Chris Ellis of Charleston; and a great-nephew, Griffin Ellis of Columbia. Burial in Travis Park Cemetery, Saluda SC.
