Bailey's First Wife: Elizabeth Jane "Eliza" (Nelson) Carnahan.
b. June 13, 1807 Pennsylvania d. Dec 18, 1865, Auburn, DeKalb Co, IN. Buried in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, IN

Bailey & Elizabeth had 8 children: Emma Jane "Emily," Miranda Ann, Ann Elizabeth "Eliza," Margaret, Milton, Abner, Emma and Electa

There are two different birth dates for both Emmas and some times families will name another child after the other if the older child dies. I have found this several times in other families.

Bailey Carnahan was a farmer and barrel cooper.

Bailey is a brother to Lynn Carper's great great grandfather, Samuel Smith Carnahan (Lynn is Sue's Husband)

Bailey is a brother to Dale Healy's great great grandfather, Wilson S. Carnahan

The Tombstone may be Illegible or missing. According to Cemetery caretakers, the older graves were relocated from another area near the current cemetery.
