Dr. Maurice Snyder died November 29, 1964, at his home in Salina from an apparent heart attack. Dr. Snyder served with the medical corps during World War II and reached the rank of lieutenant colonel.
He was a graduate of the University of Kansas school of medicine and had interned in Kansas City and in Cleveland. He had practiced medicine in Salina for 25 years.
Survivors included three brothers, Eugene, Harold and Arthur; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Henegar and Mrs. Elizabeth Herring.
