With hearts overflowing with love and gratitude for our devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, we remember the life, and resolve to carry on the legacy of Jack Stanley Morris. The youngest of eight children, born to George Williams Morris and Margaret Call Morris on March 31, 1928 in Salt Lake City. He passed away peacefully on his 85th birthday, March 31, 2013, surrounded by his family. On February 4, 1948, married the love of his life, Beverly Hansen, for eternity. Devoted member of the LDS Church. Favorite calling was Scout Master. He enjoyed building young men through the scouting program. With his encouragement, all 8 of his grandsons became Eagle Scouts. Served a Stake Mission with his wife. Music was an important part of his life, singing in the Ward Choir, Jay Welch Chorale, and the Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus. Employed by Utah Power & Light Co., retiring after 29 years. Served the community as a member of the Salt Lake and South Salt Lake Lions Club. Jack and Beverly pursued a career in the travel industry. Founded Globe and Crossroads Travel. Traveled extensively making many lifelong friendships. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, positive attitude, generosity, and gratitude for the goodness of life. His greatest loves were the Lord and his family, both of which brought him great happiness. He loved watching his children and grandchildren grow to meet life's opportunities and challenges.

Your family will always remember your never ending smiles, countless thank-you's, love-you's and warm hugs. You taught us how to live with faith, courage, dignity and love. We will always feel your strong inner strength as you remain our lighthouse through the storms of life.
