Arthur Sandy Kelley, 85, of Deford, died at Provincial House, Cass City, after a long illness.
He was born Sept. 7, 1896, in Dayton Township, Tuscola County, the son of Sandy and Clara (Goodall) Kelley. Kelley married Mrs. Violet Anderson Morrison Sept. 6, 1942, in Indiana. Following their marriage, they made their home in Cass City. Mrs. Kelley died Jan. 14, 1968.
He is survived by one son, Robert A. Kelley of Kingston ; three stepsons, Lawrence Morrison of St. Clair Shores, Dean Morrison of Grass Hopper, Ariz., and Robert Morrison of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Jane) Hunter of Kingston and Mrs. Frank (Joan) Harbec of Deford; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Howard (Irene) King of Troy; eight grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
One brother, William, and one sister, Laura, preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Little's Funeral Home, Cass City, with Rev. Eldred Kelley of the Salem United Methodist Church, Cass City, officiating. Burial was in Elkland Cemetery.
