Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, North Shelton. The Revs. Micah Gaunt and Dean Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Meyer was born Jan. 5, 1935, in Buffalo County to Edwin F. and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Ahrens) Meyer.
Survivors of the immediate family include two sisters, Vernetta Trubl of Kearney and June Kirschner of Ravenna, and a brother, Ruben Meyer of Wolbach.
Additional survivors include nieces and nephews.
He was educated at District 51. He made his home on a farm north of Shelton.
He loved rebuilding everything.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Loretta Arnold; and brother, Roy Meyer.
