He was the son of Earl and Barbara (Garecht) Carmin. He married Catherine Lackas in 1956 in Honey Creek, WI. He was the owner and operator of Carmin Realty in Delavan for many years and also the owner and operator of Lake Camp DuBay Shore campground in Mosinee, WI. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Delavan Lions Club, American Legion Post 95, Delavan, Chamber of Commerce, and Toastmasters. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and a sister-in-law.
