Kelly S. Barr, 40, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away Friday (March 29, 2013) at her residence.
Kelly was born April 7, 1972, in Kankakee, daughter of James and Charlene Hemp Carpenter.
She married Michael E. Barr on Sept. 11, 1999, in Blue Mounds, Wis., and he survives. Other survivors include one sister, Kim (Don) White, of Clifton; one brother, Greg (Deanne) Carpenter, of Bourbonnais; her parents, Jim and Charlene Carpenter, of Loda; paternal grandmother, Ethel Hopkins, of Chebanse; and one sister-in-law, Laura Carpenter, of Chebanse.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Tim.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chebanse at a later date. Memorials may be made to Dean R. O'Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund.
