CREBS, Jessie age 91, passed away Monday, December 9 at Bethany Lutheran Village after a lengthy illness. She spent her life working with her husband, Fritz, as the secretary treasurer for his businesses. She was a longtime active member of the First Methodist Church, Newark, Ohio, and especially enjoyed singing in the choir. She participated in several organizations but always put her family above all else. Preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Davission, her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Fritz, and her daughter Marilyn Crebs Hoback andher husband, Dr. Richard Hoback, grandchildren Lynn (Steve) Haworth, Rick (Dawn) Hoback, Rebecca Hoback, Greg (Paula) Hoback, and Suzanne Davisson. Her great grandchildren include Tyler, Sydney, Kyle Hoback, and Caroline and Christina Haworth. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, from 10:30AM until time of the service at 11:30AM at Normany United Methodist Church, 450 West Alex-Bell Road. Private burial at Woodland Cemetery. Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
