Fannie was known as Granny to all of the grandchildren.She loved to laugh and was almost always happy.She rolled cigaretts (Prince Albert)and would let us roll them for her.Her mother died when Granny was very small her Dad James L. Tate was in 1880 census living with James&Mary Fulton in Montevallo,Shelby Co.Al.They were the ones who raised Granny and her brother Paul Tate.She married Killis Lanier his first wife died after having 3 children she raised them and had 9of her own.Caudell,Ted,Myrtle,Devator,Jewel,Pearl,Jack,Hathel and Pete
