She was a homemaker, and also worked for Topps Watchbands for many years.
Chiaro was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, a member of the Rosary Society and the 50 Plus Club at the church. She also performed in four "Broadway" parish plays.
Surviving are her husband, Dominick; a son, Richard; a brother, Thomas; four sisters, Corrine Hoffman, Marie Gurevitch, Peggy Stallard and Linda De Della; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Donna Farenholz.
