Abraham Parker was the son of Samuel Parker and Sarah Goodsell of Wallingford, CT and was born March 24, 1720 at Wallingford. He died July 26,1775.

William enlisted in the Ct. Militia with his brother Abraham (b. 1757 Walliford-d.1812 Old Stockbridge)in Conn.
William served in the Ct Militia. He started his enlistment at age 16 as a drummer boy. William was a private in the Rev. War.
On March 26, 1789 he married Ruth Smith at Old Stockbridge, Berkshire Co, Mass. where they resided at the time.
Parker history has William listed as living in "Woodstock" NY. This area later became part of Greene County. In 1790 he is listed as living in Jewett, NY.
