The "SYRACUSE JOURNAL" on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1934, p.6 col.5 said:

"Mrs. Matilda Knapp Egenhofer—
Services for Mrs. Matilda Knapp
Egenhofer, who died Saturday, took
place at the home, 216 W. Newell
st., at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning,
and in St. Anthony of Padua
Church half an hour later, where
Rev. John A. McGraw celebrated a
solemn high mass of requiem, as-
sisted by Rev, Leon Watkins as
deacon, and Rev. William Donahue
as subdeacon. Six grandsons acted
as bearers. They included Kenneth
Hughes, Edward Hughes, Robert
Straub, Herbert Straub, George
Michaels and Albert Egenhofer.
Burial was in Assumption cemetery,
where Father Donahue conducted
cimmittal services."
