Canton, IL - Emma C. Leonard Cook, 90, of 505 W. Hanssler Place, Peoria, formerly of Canton, died at 3:35 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 1991, at Fon Du Lac Nursing Home in East Peoria.
Born July 14, 1901, in Fulton County to William D. and Martha Lock Wilson, she married Earl Leonard Sr. on April 24, 1917, in Peoria. He died Dec. 24, 1949. She later married Herschel Cook Sr. on May 9, 1956, in Canton. He died March 1, 1971.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, two sons, one granddaughter and four sisters.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Edna) Sandall of Peoria, Mrs. John (Marjorie) DeLost of Clinton, and Mrs. Dale (Madeline) Macklin and Mrs. Carroll (Martha) Buffum, both of Canton; 19 grandchildren; 35 great- grandchildren; and six great- great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
Graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
