MILFORD, NJ - Agnes Veronica (Hanley) Magro, 73, left us to join God on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. She was the loving wife of the late Dr. Francisco "Frank" Pelligrino "Pino" Magro, whom she missed tremendously since he passed in 1979.

Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Agnes (O'Hare) Hanley of Kingwood, NJ. She married the love of her life in 1956 and lived in Sykesville, MD and Morrisville, PA before settling in Milford, NJ in 1966.

She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church, the Milford Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and many other community affiliations. For many years she worked as a caregiver at numerous nursing homes and extended care facilities in Hunterdon County and was the Proprietor of The Yellow Lab, known for sitting outside the shop and waving at passersby.

Agnes will be especially missed by her sons, Dr. Michael F. of Reading, PA and Robert H. of Allentown, PA. She will be remembered by them for her unique sense of "style" and giving nature as a loving, guiding mother. She had a tremendous love for her hometown of Milford and all of her friends in the community as well as the New York Mets. Agnes is also survived by a brother, Joseph Hanley of Allerton, NJ; a sister, Sister Roseanne Kathleen Hanley of Maryknoll Ossining, NY; and a granddaughter, Meghann.

Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Monday, February 8, 2010 with services commencing immediately following at 4 pm at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Agnes' name to the American Heart Association, 212 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. www.americanheart.org
