Tim Peters was born, April 13, 1898 at Weeping Water, Nebraska to William and Sophia Buck Peters and departed this life June 7, 1971 at Lyndon, Kansas at the Age of 73 years, 1 mo, 24 days.
Tim lived in Nebraska before moving to Lyndon area 40 years ago. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Janis Mickelson, Rt 1, Lyndon, two sons, William E. Peters, Braggsdale, Colorado and Thomas H. Peters, Topeka, two sisters, Mrs. Edith Cole, Weeping Water, Nebraska and Irma Draver, Burwell, Nebraska, one brother, Sheridan, Wyoming, and five grand children, relatives and friends.
Tim will be missed by those who knew him and especially the children who was so fond of him. Memorial services were held June 10, 1971, at 2:OO o'clock at Feltner Funeral Home with Dr. Franklin T. Gould the officiant. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swearingen sang "The Lord is my Shepard", "I'll Not Want" and Holy Cross", and "Dispel our Sadness". Mrs. Norma Felter accompanied them.
