The funeral for Selma Estelle Kieff, 88, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home with Doug McCurry officiating. Burial will be in Bottom Cemetery.
Mrs. Kieff died Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Limestone Health Facility. Selma was born February 10, 1925 in Limestone County to Leonard and Mary Kelly Coffman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willam Curgus "Dick" Kieff. Parents, sisters, Vera Stephenson, Theora Poteete, Florene Adams, Ocia Coffman; brothers. Jarrett, Harvey, Delma Coffman.
Survivors include sons, William L. Kieff (Phyllis) of Sumter, S.C., and Danny Kieff (Judy) of Chesterfield, Va.; daughter, Sue Coffey (Jerry) of Decatur, Al; 6 grandchildren, Joey Kieff, (Connie) Karen Turner, (Jet) Kristina Detwiler, (Trey) Clint Coffey,(Annie) Keli Kirby, Christopher Allen Kieff, (Meggin) great-grandchildren; Jetta Turner, Navy Turner, Macy Turner, Wyndham Detwiler, Kathryn Harris, Houston Norris, Shirey Coffey, Raiden Coffey; brother, Warren Coffman of Athens; and many loving nieces and nephews.
