She was born in Huntington, a daughter of Ilo James and Helen Frances Parks Kaylor. She was a homemaker and also worked as a production inspector at E-Systems/Memcor for 28 years, retiring in 1995. She was united in marriage to Luther Bowling on December 20, 1952. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2001. Survivors include two sons: Steven N. Bowling, and Tristan L. Bowling, both of Warren; four daughters: Mrs. Russell (Jean) Freestone, Mrs. John (Karleen) Herring, both of Warren; Mrs. Jim (Cheri) Britten and Mrs. Jimmy (Trilyn) Asher, both of Huntington; three brothers: Max Kaylor Sr., of Huntington, Gordon Kaylor of Louisiana, and Thomas Kaylor of Texas; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Cris Bowling and James Bowling; two brothers: James Kaylor and Robert Kaylor; and a sister, Betty Kaylor.
