DEWEY BOOTH DIES DEC. 5 AT HIS HOME
Dewey Logan Booth, 80 of Campton, died suddenly at his home on Friday,
December 5 of an apparent heart attack. He was a retired L & N Railroad
employee and a member of the Tar Ridge Church of God.
Survivors are his wife, Stella Whisman Booth; one son, Raymond of
Ludlow; one daughter, Mrs. Virga Lane of Big Andy Ridge; six
grandchildren; one brother, Bert Booth; three sisters, Nora Angle of
Danville, Hattie Carroll of Winchester and Bessie Little of Beattyville.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Shackelford
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Omer Spencer officiating. Burial in the
family cemetery on Big Andy Ridge with Shackelford Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
