Behling, Alma (nee Tennison) 99 years old, passed away in Brookfield, Wisconsin, on February 11, 2013.

She was born on February 18, 1913, to Edward and Bessie (Jenkins) Tennison in Sesser, Illinois. Alma lived in Elgin most of her adult life.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald S. Behling in 1979; her daughter, Elaine Gates of Frederick, Maryland; her son, Bruce D. Behling of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; two sisters, Neva (Clarence) Askew of Emporia, Kansas, and Lela (Claude) Thompson of Elgin; and three brothers, Errin, Randall and Emery (Maxine) Tennison of Elgin.

Alma is survived by her daughter-in-law, JoAnne Behling of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; two grandsons, Erik Behling of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and Stefan (Kim) Behling of Brookfield, Wisconsin; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Cole Behling; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Noon at Lakewood Memorial Park, 30W730 US Hwy 20, Elgin.
