Devoted mother of Thomas (Susan) Iskalis and Stephen (Molly) Iskalis. Dear grandmother of Halee, Jason and Andreas Iskalis. Cherished sister of Jean (Michael) Hatzis and Evelyn (William) Michas. Dearest niece of Dr. Evangelos Tassaras. Fond aunt and cousin of many.
Loving wife of the late Constantine Iskalis and the late Wallace Krier. Beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Sylvia (nee Tassaras) Pelias.
Betty was a member of the Annunciation Womens club of Milwaukee, the Florentine Opera Board of Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Teachers Association and the Elm Grove Womens Club. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Illinois. Betty taught school for 25 years in Lockport, IL., and Elm Grove, WI.
Funeral services for Betty Iskalis Krier will be Saturday, August 18, 2001, 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Friday from 4 - 8 p.m., with Trisagion service 7:00 p.m. at: Fred C. Dames West Chapel, 3200 W. Black Road, Joliet
