Carrie married Daniel Lewis in 1908. They had 10 children. The 1st was Stillborn in 1909. Nelson was the third child born.
He was a Boy Scout and raised a Baptist in his youth.
He married, Mary Delephine Northrop on Feb. 26st, 1938. Together, they had 5 children. In 1939, Twin Baby Girls were born but, died at home in Hamburg, NJ in 1939. The Twins are buried over the top of James Nelson Kimble the 2nd. in the family plot. But they have no marker.
At Home in Franklin, NJ in 1940 a baby Girl was born, But,died also in 1940. She was buried over the top of Nelson's sister, Dora (Who was a Twin also, who was born and died in 1919.) Both graves have no markers, but all are registered in the cemetery records of interments.
His 4th child, Rodney James Lewis was born in Frankin Hospital in 1946. Rodney died at his home in Richmond,VA in 2003. And is buried in Amelea, VA.
His 5th child, Ricky Nelson Lewis was born in Sussex Hospital,(Alexander Linn Hospital),in 1957.
Nelson raised his family as Methodist. In his later life he attend the Crossroads Assembly Of God Church.
Nelson's Occupation when he was first married was in the Lewisburg Creamey in Sussex,NJ Then, He became a Carpenter. He built the House that his wife designed in Sussex, in the 1940's.
He was a member of the Raggedy Ann Hunting Culb, and also a member of AARP.
He Played the Saxophone, Guitar, and the Organ.
