The body will be returned to Portland for funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Finley's Morninglight chapel. Private commitment will be at Riverview cemetery mausoleum.
Mr. Davis was born October 12, 1878 in West Union, Ia., and came to Portland in 1903.
Mr. Davis was a member of Al Kader temple, Sunnyside Masonic Lodge, Friendship chapter, OES, and of the First Presbyterian church.
He became a partner in the Stark-Davis firm upon his arrival in Portland in 1903 and seven years later became president and sole owner.
Survivors beside the widow include four sons, Edwin C., Adelbert John Jr., Harlow and Stanley L.; two daughters, Louise Rawlinson and Leona Hicks, all of Portland; three sisters, Mrs. H. H. A. Hastings and Mrs. J. L. Dudley, both of Portland, and Mrs. S. Brown, Seattle, and 4 grandchildren.
Davis lived at 5248 S.W. Humphrey Boulevard.
