Services will be Friday, March 9, for Janet Brasiel-Stapleton, 69, a longtime Tracy resident, who died Feb. 28 in Tracy.

Mrs. Brasiel-Stapleton was born June 30, 1942, in Omaha, Neb., and had lived in Tracy since 1964.

Survivors include eight children, Calvin Brasiel, Larry Brasiel, Steven Brasiel, Martha Galicinao, Monica Marro, Meredith Brasiel, Ernest DeJohn and Curtis Stapleton; five siblings, Jerry Burnett, Michael Burnett, Robert Green Jr., Dwight Green and Debbie Medina; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Herman Brasiel, married 32 years; second husband, Ronald Gene Stapleton, married 11 years; and two sisters, Melody Gertz and Linda Jacks.

Fridays chapel service will begin at 11 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Burial will be in Tracy Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road.
