Glen Ivan Kennedy, 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. He was born on September 19, 1933 to Ivan D. and LeOra Marshall Kennedy in Ogden, Utah. He grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from West High School.

He entered the service on June of 1953. Shortly after entering the service, Glen married the love of his life Sandra George in Ogden, Utah, on November 4, 1953. He went back to Germany to serve until June of 1955.

Glen was the owner of Kennedy Electric Inc. which was founded in 1977.

He loved working with computers, but his greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren.

Glen is survived by his wife, Sandra, South Ogden; sons, Rick Glen Kennedy, Roy, Mark William (Gayle) Kennedy, Clinton, and Todd George (Lisa) Kennedy, Farr West; daughter, Cindy Lee (Blaine) Longfellow, South Ogden; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rod (Arlene) Kennedy, Jerry Kennedy, DeWayne (Judy) Jacobsen, and Denny (Julene) Jacobsen; and brother-in-law, Doyle O'Dell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister, Glenna; sister, Joan; and sister-in-law, Shirley.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
