Catherine was born April 27, 1926 in Catawba Co. to the late Wesley and Etta Davis Bolick, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Raymond Clark, Jr., second husband, Clyde F. Helton; son, Donald Helton; dau-in-law, Jean Clark;grandson, Ronald Green; brother, Robert David Bolick and a sister, Muriel Bolick.
She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Granite Falls, retired from Bassett Furniture after 35 years of service and worked in environmental services at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are her daughter, Carla Jean Helton and fiancé, David Harden, with who she made her home of Sycamore, Pa.,; sons, Wayne Clark and wife, Nelda, of Hickory and Michael Helton and wife, Jane, of Shelby; dau-in-law, Vivian Helton of Hickory; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great- great- granddaughter; brother, Wesley Bolick, Jr. of Bethlehem; sisters, Peggy Lane of Conover, Joyce Smith of Hickory and Doris Keller of Texas.
Services will be Monday, November 26, at 11:00 A. M. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Tom McDonald officiating. The body will lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
