Services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Berg officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery with "Flight Home" ceremony. The family requests casual attire. Randy was born April 16, 1952 in Decatur the son of Floyd A. and Annabelle (Randol) Adkins. He attended Eastern Illinois University and was an Army Veteran. He retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after 30 years of service. He was an avid Cub's fan, and an avid Pool player. He shot in several pool leagues and was a member of the Moose Lodge. His journey in his life was rich, interesting and blessed as was that of those who knew and loved him. He was a loyal and loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He leaves behind, his brother, Larry Adkins (Cheryl) of Fairview Heights; sisters, Suzanne Dahman (Kenny) of Decatur; Angela Incarnato (Tony) of Decatur; four nieces, six nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also survived by his cherished pets, Kelsey, Hoss, Wrigley, and Maggie.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents, sister, Linda Anne, and Dear friend, Karen Wilson.
