Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Cox, 39, were conducted Sunday morning, July 10, at 8:45 o'clock from the home of her mother, Mrs. M.M. Tucker. Mrs. Cox, who had been ill for some time, died Saturday, July 9. Born in Baxter county, Arkansas, on January 1, 1899, Mrs. Cox was thirty-nine years, six months and eight days of age.
Much of her life was spent in Collingsworth County, and she was widely known throughout this entire territory. During the past few years she had made her home im Pampa and in South Texas. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Woodman Circle.
Survivors include one son, Billie Wayne, who is eight years of age, her mother, Mrs. Tucker, and five brothers and sisters: Mrs. D.F. Rowell of Boynton, OK; H.C. Tucker of Phoenix, AZ; W.M. Tucker of Wellington; Mrs. Claude Thompson of College station; and O.L. Tucker. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.
