John Kenneth Aytes age 77 of Harriman went to rest in the Lord Thursday, March 28, 2013 in the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. A member of the Post Oak Church of Christ, he was a 13-year US Marine Corps Veteran and a self-employed carpenter. Preceded in death by his parents Raynard "Fate" and Neelie Aytes; and a daughter Deborah Delores Aytes.

Sons Jeff Aytes of Harriman
Dean Aytes of Cumberland County
Stanley Aytes of Kingston
Nine Grandchildren
Fifteen Great grandchildren

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow with Don Stallings officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Ozone Cemetery with military honors by the US Marine Corps.
