Of Kalamazoo

Harry passed away Monday afternoon, March 30, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo. He was born October 28, 1921 in Lawrence, MI the son of the late Almont and Lila (Camp) Hardenbrook. Harry was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. On September 14, 1970 in Kalamazoo, Harry was united in marriage to Evelynn Terrell Brockway who survives. Also surviving are six sons; two step-children; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; many close friends. Harry was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Hardenbrook and a step-daughter, Sharon Mendoza. Family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 PM at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held on Friday 1 PM with Pastor Ron Smith of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Mattawan officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence with military honors.
