Mary was the daughter of Theobald Adam Fouse & Agnes Greaser.

She married Charles Winfield Ferry on 15 Aug 1882.

They had five children: Theobald Ross; Ada Blanche (Sprankle); Charles Arthur; Vernice Edna (McCullum); & Clyde Ira.

Mary's obituary in the Altoona Mirror includes: "She is survived by one daughter. Mrs. E. B. Sprankle, and two sons, Theodore Ross and Charles A. Perry, all of Altoona. Also by these brothers and sisters: William D. and Laura Fouse of Altoona, Daniel D. Fouse and Mrs. W. P. Erb of Beaverstown, Mahlon L. Fouse and Mrs. Scott Garner of Entriken, C. S. Fouse of Mt. Union and D. H. Fouse of Williamsport." Note that an obituary also appeared in the Altoona Tribune.
