Robert Emory Noel, 85, born July 31, 1927 in Zavalla, Texas entered into eternal rest March 27, 2013. Robert is a veteran of the US Air Force and an active Mason for over 50 years with Woodland Lodge # 1157; as well as a dedicated usher for over 20 years at First United Methodist Church Downtown. He is preceded in death by his parents: John & Flora Noel; siblings: Helen Foster, Opal Jackson, Jack, Paul & James Noel, Bobbie Ramsey and David Noel. Left to cherish his precious memories: loving wife of 31 years, Martha; sons: Freddie Noel & wife Jan, Randy Noel; daughter, Shirley Evans; step-children: Patricia Moody & husband Larry, Jack Wardell & wife Rosie, Janet Walker & husband John; siblings: Charles Noel, Ralph Noel, Patsy Conner and Judean Boone; 16 grandchildren & 24 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Fri., Mar. 29th from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm, Sat., Mar. 30th. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
