MR. WILLIAM B. O'QUINN
Funeral services for William B. (Billy) O'Quinn, 53, of Sandersville were held Friday, March 7, at 3 p.m. in the Sandersville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Burns Willis, pastor, officiating. Mr. O'Quinn died March 4.
Mr. O'Quinn was born November 17, 1921, in Washington County the son of Bryant O'Quinn and Mrs. Lenora Veal O'Quinn of Deepstep. He was a member of Sandersville United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Mildred Harrington; three daughters, Mrs. Faye Archer, Mrs. Sandra Bowen, Miss Jennie O'Quinn, all of Sandersville; one son, Victor O'Quinn, U.S. Army, Germany; four grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Bryant O'Quinn, Deepstep; sister, Mrs. C.I. Giles, Jr., Deepstep; and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Wallace Lindsey, Julius Brown, Marvin Johnson, Forest English, Billy Frost, and Ray Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred Lord, Bobby Chambers, James Andrews, Reginald Mills, Elwood Harris, A.H. Willis, Jr., Bill Hartley, Frank Masingale and Harold Dennard.
Mayo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with interment in Memorial Gardens of Washington County.
