ELKHORN- Maryanne "Marion" Lory, 88, of Elkhorn, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at Holton Manor Nursing Home in Elkhorn. She was born on May 7, 1917, the daughter of Blanche and Amos Robinson of Fontana, WI. She married John G. Lory of Elkhorn in 1935; he preceded her in death. Marion worked throughout her married life as a homemaker, at Borgs during World War II, and later at Oak Manufacturing. She is survived by her sons: John R. Lory, Gerald A. Lory, and Robert C. Lory; daughters-in-law, Annette and Dorothy Lory; grandchildren and their spouses; and great-grandchildren. Private services were held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at the BETTS FUNERAL HOME in Elkhorn, with Rev. Scott McLeod officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Delavan Township.
