Franklin Andrew Lair, Jr., 75, of Waverly died at his home, Nov. 26, 1996.
He was born April 29, 1921, in Morgan County, the son of Franklin Andrew Sr. and Mary Isabelle Hamm Lair.
Surviving are a son, Jack of Zimmerman, Minn.; and three daughters, Janet Hill and Beverly Shell, both of Wilmington, and Rosemary Dillinger of Dwight. He was preceded by four brothers, Harvey Ray, James J., Thomas Henry and George in infancy; and five sisters, Mary Alla, Metta Littleton, Millie A., Rita Airreta and Anna in infancy.
He was a retired truck driver.
Following cremation, graveside funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Waverly East Cemetery.
