BIOGRAPHY
The former Vivian Jane Angus was born Dec. 19, 1940 in Petoskey. She attended Petoskey schools and graduated from Petoskey High School in 1959. While at Petoskey High School she was active in Tri-Hi-Y; Pep Club; Hi-Lite Staff; Ink Slingers; Girl's Gllee Club; Band; Choir; and Quill & Scroll. She graduated from North Central Michigan College in 1975 with an associate degree in psychology.
She has made her home in both Alanson and Petoskey. On January 4, 1974 was married to Dennis Blumke in Petoskey. The couple lived in Alanson since that time.
OBITUARY
Jane is survived by her husband; two sons, and one daughter;all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Angus of Petoskey; two sisters: Ann and Jill; and her paternal grandmother. Funeral services for Mrs. Blumke were held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the Stone Funeral Home. The Rev. Milton Ten Have officiated and interment was in the Alanson Cemetery. Jane is interred next to her mother.

ALANSON - A fire of unknown origina claimed the life of Vivian Jane Blumke, 36, of Alansan, Firday night in her home Mrs. Blumke's three children escaped the blaze, but Janie died of smoke inhalation in the upstairs bedroom.
