BELOIT - Madeline Hills, 103, of Beloit, WI, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, in Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing. She was born on Feb. 6, 1903, in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of Martin J. and Vira Armstrong Dillon. Madeline married Kenneth R. Hills on June 7, 1924, in Rockford, IL; he predeceased her on Dec. 12, 1959. Madeline was employed by Freeman Shoe Company, retiring in 1967. She was an avid card player and loved to fish and play bingo. Madeline crocheted lap robes for each of her grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, two daughters and two sons; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 29 great-great-grandchildren, many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters, Beverly Hills and Mary Ellen Blaske; 2 brothers, Eldon and Clarence Dillon; 2 sisters, Mabel McClellan and Leatha Dillon; a grandson, Kenneth Musselman; daughter-in-law, Peggy Hills; and son-in-law, Joe Blaske. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, in OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl officiating. Burial in Mt. Thabor Cemetery. The family is being assisted by Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, Beloit, WI.
