Jeanette Whitehead, born January 12, 1940, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Better known to family and friends as Peggy. Peg was a beloved family treasure, our strength and glue. A life long member of Old Piney Grove Baptist, and important part of that community. Peg will long be remembered for her wonderful cooking and love of gospel music. She retired from Heritage Middle School as a custodian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Annie; sisters, Beatrice, Louise; brothers, Lester, Archie.

She is survived by her sister, Zelda (Jim) Hitson; brothers, Lloyd (Marie), Chet, Homer (Betty), Lee (Pat), Arnold "Bud" (Faye); 18 nieces and nephews; several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Old Piney Cemetery for the interment.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. 982-6812
