He was born October 1, 1888, a son of John and Mary Jane McKee Armstrong.
Preceding in death was his wife, Lilla Mae.
Survivors include three sons, Homer of San Antonio, earl of Mesquite, Texas, and Carl of Wood River, and niece Lola Stubblefield of Waverly. Also sister-in-law, Mrs. Bill Armstrong, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Neece Funeral Home here with burial in Waverly Cemetery.
