"Ma" was born September 20, 1925 in beaver Dam, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter, and is survived by five sons, Peter III, Patrick, Michael, Mathew and Thomas, along with their spouses, children and grandchildren. Ma lived her first 41 years in Beaver Dam until her husband, Peter, was transferred to Sacramento in 1967. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1943 and attended St. Luke's School of Nursing in Racine. She worked as a Public Health Nurse for the City of Waupun at St. Joseph's Hospital and for Dr. Qualls until her first son was born in 1952. From that point forward she chose to stay home and raise her family, continiuing her inimitable loving and caring nature throughout her memorable life. Ma was an active member of St. Mark's Church and contributed to the making of St. Msark's famous Christmas stockings. Ma exemplified greatness through her humility, other-centeredness, quiet strength and grace. Those who knew her are far better for it. May we all learn from Ma's example and strive to be more like her. She will always be missed.
"Always remember, there is nothing worth sharing like the love that let us share our name."
