Donald L. Weaver, 84, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Tel Hai Retirement Community.

He was the beloved husband of Bettie Brown Weaver with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Edna Saylor Weaver.

Don was an area resident all his life and a 1947 graduate of the Scott High School. He proudly served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. He owned and operated, along with his father and brothers, B.F. Weaver Motors of Coatesville.

Don was a member of the Parkesburg Baptist Church, and life member of the Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge #383 of Coatesville and the Rajah Temple.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three sons; Donald L. Weaver, Jr. and wife Cindy of Akron, OH, John Michael Weaver and wife Elizabeth of Coatesville and D. Scott Weaver and wife Charlynn also of Coatesville and four grandchildren; Dana Lynn Weaver, Marion V. Nowell, Erin R. Weaver and Joshua D. Weaver. He was preceded in death by one grandson Zachary Allen Weaver and two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10am from the Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment at the Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, PA.

Viewing at the church from 9 to 10am and also Friday evening, from 6 to 8pm at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg with a Masonic services conducted at 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 please designate the Philadelphia location.
