Normand was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. McBride; parents, Alanso and Minnie McBride; a granddaughter, Brandi Boyd; and sister-in-law, Lucille McBride. He is survived by his four sons, Norman(Po)McBride Jr., Gilbert(Kathy)McBride, Micky McBride and Lonnie(Tina)McBride; two daughters, Vicki(Billy)Boyd and Kimberly(Ronnie)Couch; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
