Glover Memorials and Genealogies. An Account of John Glover of Dorchester, and His Descendants. With a Brief Sketch of Some of the Glovers who First Settled in New Jersey, Virginia, and Other Places, by Anna Glover, pg 355; print, Boston, MA · 1867 (Google Books): [CAPT.] LEWIS GLOVER, second son of Edward & Hannah (Fifield) Glover, was born in Dorchester, June 26, 1776 and died in Boston, June 1810, aged 34 years. He was a merchant. In 1800 [1 Aug 1799], he was married to Nancy Brazer, daughter of Major John Brazer of Boston, born there and died in 1814. Children of Lewis and Nancy (Brazer) Glover, born in Boston: [i.] Mary Anne, b. in 1800; d. March 1, 1831, age 31, unm. [ii.] Anne Brazer, b. in 1802; m. Benjamin Leeds of Dorchester. [iii.] Lewis, [b. 1804] m. Elizabeth E. Kearney of Berrysville, Va. [iv.] John Brazer, m1. Charlotte Elizabeth Lyon; m2. Caroline Lincoln of New Bedford. [v.] Jane Brimmer, b. July 28, 1806; m. William H. Montague of Dedham. [vi.] Sarah, b. [26 Oct] 1808; m. William H. Guild of Dedham.

Note: Capt. Lewis' newspaper announcement is dated July 4th, and NEHGS is stating he died July 1st, but where Boston states it was June, it very well could have been June 30th. If NEHGS found his burial, it was not given. It is also documented that he died in Boston; perhaps not, there would have been carrier rec at that date. So he came from one of the suburbs of Boston.
