Mrs. Daraxa Anderson Dead
Mrs. Daraxa Isabelle Anderson, 705 Prairie, died at her home this [sic--words missing] died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Laurence Waters, 705 Prairie, this morning at 9:15 o'clock. She had been seriously sick since August 31.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the United Presbyterian church in Denison, where she was a member. Burial will be in Denison.
Mrs. Anderson was born February 27, 1875, in Holton. She married Hugh Speedy Anderson, February 13, 1900, in Holton. They moved to Emporia three years ago. She is survived by her husband, of the home, two daughters, Mrs. W. B. Wood, Hunter, Ark.; Mrs. Laurence Y. Waters, Emporia; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ross, Hoyt; and two grandchildren.
