Darrell Cleveland White (1888-1959), 71, a resident of Putnam County for 11 years, died at his home at Brown’s Landing Sunday.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 3 p.m. in Master’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Brabham, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Palatka Memorial Gardens. Graveside rites will be conducted by Palatka Lodge No. 34, F&AM.
The deceased moved here from Detroit, Mich. where he was a member of Acacia Lodge No. 477, F&AM, and the Methodist Church. A veteran of World War I he was a member of Bert Hodge Post No. 45, American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Grace Eleanor White, Brown’s Landing; a daughter, Mrs. C. A. Robinson, San Antonio, Texas; and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Ballard, Davenport, Iowa. Palatka Daily News, Monday, 9 Mar 1959.
