MARTIN MELCHER, 82, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2004. Martin, a loving husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife of 59 years, Meta; son and daughter-in-law, Harvey and LaVerne Melcher; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Haold Wetuski; grandchildren, Parilee and husband, David Bruner, Jodi and husband, Jerry Phillips, Lisa Wetuski, Christopher Melcher and Mark Wetuski; four brothers and two sisters. Martin was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2004 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, St. Mark Lutheran Church, Rev. David V. Schultz, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Martin's memory to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1515 Hillendahl, Houston, TX 77055.
